Elliott Wave, counted not drawn.

A private session, published whole. Most of it is one instruction repeated: count the waves. The student keeps trying to decide what the chart is, and keeps getting sent back to count it instead. That is the entire lesson, and it takes thirty-five minutes, because that is how long it honestly takes. If you have ever assumed an Elliott Wave chart was drawn to fit the outcome, this is the difference between drawing one and counting one, worked on ETHUSD in bar replay.

What the session covers

  • 01

    Count it, don’t decide it

The rules that actually invalidate a count — wave three is never the shortest, waves two and four never overlap — and why “it doesn’t look right” is not one of them. A swing high sits on the swing high, even when the candle is an ugly doji with nothing but wick.

  • 02

Waves inside waves, and knowing where you are

Every impulse leg subdivides into five, so counting is mechanical rather than a judgement call. The session works out loud what wave three of wave three means, and why too many lines on the screen stops you seeing the count at all.

  • 03

The fifth is the fools rally

Reading the volume signature across the structure: the third carries the volume, the fifth does not, and the blow-off top is exactly where the excitement peaks. What that means for where a position gets scaled rather than held to the end.

0:00 · DrewRight, so I have to fill from start to finish if this is a proper five, if this is a proper first wave, right?

0:09 · Charles V.Yeah, and there’s five waves within your tiny one down there too. There are five waves within all first waves. For all five waves.

0:16 · DrewYeah. But like, fuck me, that’s not that. Like, right?

0:18 · Charles V.Are you sure?

0:20 · DrewThere’s no way.

0:23 · Charles V.Why?

0:25 · DrewAh, like I know, like I really used to look for pretty in the past and then like opening my mind, but like I don’t know I… oh, like I get the rules aren’t invalidated, but like that fucking, you know, like rules of, I don’t know…

0:42 · Charles V.Why don’t you just count the waves?

0:45 · DrewYeah. It checks. But like it can be like that and it checks out, like we’re good?

0:52 · Charles V.Listen to what I’m saying. Count the waves. So in the wave one, zoom in, count is there five waves. In the wave three, is there five? In the fifth wave, is there five waves? Just count the waves. There’s no trick to it.

1:02 · DrewWhy do I sound like a fucking retard? Why do I sound like a retard? Like fucking seriously…

1:12 · Charles V.You’re completely avoiding doing the actual work for some reason and I’m not sure why.

1:16 · DrewOkay. Okay. Um… So then if I’m going lower down here I gotta get I think a bit noisier… Does that make sense?

1:23 · Charles V.Okay tell me. Do the other one, try.

1:31 · DrewYeah. Okay. Okay, okay, um.

1:38 · Charles V.Great. Now show me the correction.

1:45 · DrewOh… this is such a beautiful thing… when it feels like clarity. But then, you know. It quickly goes, but that I just, that’s what I love. Um…

1:51 · Charles V.You’re cherry-picking.

1:57 · DrewYeah.

2:02 · Charles V.Why are you cherry-picking?

2:08 · DrewUm, for the next swing, so…

2:21 · Charles V.Is that the swing? Wait, I’m gonna go in closer. Um… Remember this is supposed to be 70% of your screen. If you can’t identify for some reason which is a swing high or swing low, do you think you’re in close enough?

2:34 · DrewYeah no. Not. Boom. Okay that’s it.

2:39 · Charles V.Is it?

2:45 · DrewI think so. Um… Well the swing low’s down here.

2:50 · Charles V.Up the range which is the swing low. You keep highlighting the not low.

2:54 · DrewYeah, yeah, of the swing low, that’s here. Yeah, yeah, okay. That’s better.

2:57 · Charles V.You can do it better right now. The waves don’t go backwards man. You’re printing it backwards.

3:01 · DrewYeah sorry. Yeah.

3:05 · Charles V.Okay. And remember we can always confirm this with a fib tool but just assume that’s right for a second. Count the next wave.

3:14 · DrewOkay. Just like this. My god. Okay. Um…

3:22 · Charles V.Are you actually counting the waves?

3:36 · DrewOkay… what the fuck… fuck sorry man. Oh my god. Okay this isn’t it fully yet but I gotta move the screen. Whoa, where am I going? That is not what I’m doing. I’m ending the five back here. Um…

3:50 · Charles V.Remember, put it to 70% or you’re gonna have a bad time.

3:55 · DrewOkay. Yeah. Yeah. So we got one, two…

4:00 · Charles V.Just just hear what I’m saying. Do you think that this amount of lines is helping you think clearly or not think clearly?

4:06 · DrewIt doesn’t help. No.

4:11 · Charles V.So what are you doing?

4:13 · DrewBut that’s where I feel like if I take some off will I lose stuff? No?

4:18 · Charles V.Will you forget just forget where the waves are? Can you not see them?

4:19 · DrewYeah no.

4:21 · Charles V.Okay.

4:22 · DrewYeah it’s like a schematic right? Yeah, yeah no it’s like a schematic I know, I hear you okay. So if I was to take off maybe this big one…

4:31 · Charles V.I’ll not be confused because your job is to count the waves. Not assume that what you drew on a large timeframe is the truth. Count them. And disprove or prove what you’re trying to say.

4:48 · DrewOkay. Okay. So this one I’m just thinking to take off. Those two are good because I’m tracking the smaller one in here.

5:01 · Charles V.Do what you need, I’m gonna go away for a second, I’ll be right back.

5:20 · DrewOkay. Okay, okay.

5:39 · Charles V.Hey, you back? Oh. I’m back.

6:04 · DrewOkay. I can’t imagine how anybody in this would ever shit on Elliott’s wave, like fuck me like right? Like how could one person… like with what it prints.

6:30 · Charles V.Well they draw it subjectively and they’re like this is wrong, it’s stupid, it didn’t work. Like that’s… in every instance, how many times have you done it not to what it played out to be and then imagine if you didn’t have anybody being like well actually it’s this and this is why.

6:38 · DrewYeah. It’s so true. For all the, you know.

6:47 · Charles V.Every other TA. All of it. Same math applies. The majority will never figure it out because they will assume… they’re not like remember in their own heads they studied so they know it and then it didn’t work.

6:56 · DrewRight.

7:04 · Charles V.It’s just not the truth.

7:06 · DrewYeah. Yeah. And actually it’s funny because like the amount of people that will put different shit you know like you’ll have you could ask 10 people to draw the Elliott’s wave and they’ll probably give you 10 different examples right?

7:16 · Charles V.That’s the point just like every other thing though. That’s the key. Like get somebody to draw a fib on correctly. It gets like all of the things apply across the board. That’s how this place makes a lot of people throw money at the market without actually having any understanding of how to do these things. That’s why I have to hold you to the light because every time you try to slide away, just watch what they try to do. Same thing.

7:31 · DrewRight. Yeah no I I hear ya. I appreciate it. So this is what I got for my uh my next wave.

7:46 · Charles V.Okay. So why is the B not on the swing high? After the low?

7:54 · DrewUm after the low… after the low here why is it not on the swing high? Um… I… I was I was also looking into for you know not the exact math but I thought with this that was a weak swing like it’s but a swing’s a swing right? Um would it even…

8:21 · Charles V.Yeah. Like what even if this was like a tiny little doji with like you know all wick. That’s still, that’s still your high, right?

8:31 · DrewYeah. Yeah I guess with um… yeah I guess okay no I get it. It wouldn’t not be, it’s like if a wick pulled down…

8:36 · Charles V.What would happen if you try to pull that on something different?

8:42 · DrewYeah. Okay. Okay I’ll do that better. Yeah it’s like if a two wick was poking down it invalidates it, it doesn’t matter if it was a little fucking doji or not. I get it. Okay.

8:48 · Charles V.Okay.

8:53 · DrewOkay. So. Is that correct for the Elliott’s wave?

8:59 · Charles V.Well you tell me is it done?

9:01 · DrewYeah. Oh for this one.

9:04 · Charles V.So that’s a five wave and is the C the low?

9:06 · DrewYes.

9:08 · Charles V.Okay. So what comes next?

9:10 · DrewUh another five. Okay. Okay. Um… and then… Yeah. This is a good timeframe to see it on. One hour. Um… So just back to back? So… Fuck me. Okay.

11:03 · Charles V.So pause, just stop. Go back. Show me that entirety of that wave up. I need you to understand what’s happening. So zoom out a little.

11:08 · DrewOkay.

11:14 · Charles V.From the top of your fifth to the the lows.

11:18 · DrewFrom the top of my fifth to the low here?

11:20 · Charles V.To the right there? To the back further.

11:23 · DrewOh.

11:26 · Charles V.Okay. Right there. Stop. Just zoom out a little bit.

11:30 · DrewOkay.

11:33 · Charles V.Okay. So what you need to understand, there are multiple moves, remember waves within waves within waves. So is that low, is that two, the low? The very bottom, is that the low of the low? Or is there a wave before that?

11:52 · DrewNo, there was a wave before that.

11:55 · Charles V.Okay. So show me remember that means that’s your wave two of this entire thing right?

11:59 · DrewYes.

12:03 · Charles V.Okay. So what you need to understand, this is a five wave of wave three of your wave three.

12:08 · DrewOkay.

12:13 · Charles V.So you can see one, two, three, four, five right?

12:16 · DrewYeah.

12:19 · Charles V.Yeah, that’s wave three of wave three.

12:43 · DrewThat’s wave three of wave three.

12:46 · Charles V.So from the your mouse right now go down low. That’s zero, see all the way to the top fifth?

12:49 · DrewNo like up here?

12:52 · Charles V.That is wave three of wave three. So see your blue line going right through your mouse and up?

12:55 · DrewYeah.

12:58 · Charles V.That’s your wave three. This is wave three of your wave three.

13:00 · DrewOkay. Okay.

13:03 · Charles V.So after wave three prints we look for what?

13:06 · DrewUh after a wave three prints we look for a correction.

13:08 · Charles V.And then?

13:10 · DrewAnd then for another um another a another one two three four five out of it.

13:17 · Charles V.Which is called what?

13:23 · DrewUm a impulsive Elliott’s wave.

13:25 · Charles V.And what wave is it?

13:27 · DrewUh that would be into the fourth wave.

13:32 · Charles V.The fourth is corrective, what comes after the fourth?

13:35 · DrewUh you got um a fifth wave that comes out of that.

13:43 · Charles V.That’s right. So now what we’re counting is the fifth wave to the top of your third.

13:48 · DrewOkay. Okay, the fifth wave to the top of the third. Oh. Okay. Thank you for that.

13:55 · Charles V.Cool.

14:01 · DrewFifth wave. Same thing each one of these each one of these five waves has five waves within them and so on. So crazy. Oh my god. It’s almost like it’ll forever baffle my mind, you know what I mean? Like I don’t think there’ll ever be a time where I’m just like you know it’s not crazy. I just think it’s fucking crazy.

14:23 · Charles V.Yeah so if you can see the five waves within each one of these because there are five waves within each one of these and then an ABC after, that is a one five wave with many little five waves and you can zoom into smaller timeframes if you want. But that’s fine. And now after the third wave what do we look for?

14:32 · DrewUh the fourth. Or an ABC.

14:42 · Charles V.Yeah okay. Um… Remember I’m looking at the swing high of the third to the low of whatever followed it.

14:48 · DrewRight.

14:54 · Charles V.Now draw, if it’s corrective, a corrective.

15:29 · DrewOkay.

16:03 · Charles V.Now zoom out. You’re not at the top. You can’t see the top. Because it wasn’t on your screen. That’s the top.

16:08 · DrewThat’s right.

16:13 · Charles V.So you’re you’re rolling them together so now delete that and start again.

16:17 · DrewOkay.

16:21 · Charles V.I’m not saying that this is wrong I’m saying that that so far was a wave one of your five wave. Which then is followed by an ABC and then the third wave and then the fifth wave.

16:30 · DrewRight.

16:38 · Charles V.So draw it again and recognize what it is. Like I’m just saying you don’t your cherry picking stuff to have on the screen. You should only have the relevant stuff on the screen. And if you’ve already identified the fifth wave on a macro, and this is in hindsight, we’ll put the fifth wave on the screen and count.

16:52 · DrewYeah. So that’s right here, just the fifth wave.

16:54 · Charles V.So count to five.

16:55 · DrewOkay. Um five as a whole. Uh… yeah one…

17:03 · Charles V.Remember we don’t guess we just count.

17:05 · DrewOkay, okay. Uh so to take up to a swing high um… I’m gonna have to move this around I think. Oh I don’t know. My third’s not the shortest. I’m not invalidated there. I think this could work. I think this is it.

17:33 · Charles V.So now within this, within each corrective move, there is an ABC that you’ve not drawn out, which is fine, but understand this is how it works. And then you can count the fifth of the fifth of the fifth or whatever the fuck you want. It’s all there, it’s all there for you to time accordingly. You just have to remember where you are. And if you don’t have them drawn and you’re guessing, you’re not gonna remember where you are.

17:48 · DrewYeah.

18:03 · Charles V.So yeah, so at the fifth, when the fifth starts printing, we count five waves. And at the fifth of the fifth of the fifth of the fifth, guess what we don’t do?

18:14 · DrewDon’t go, don’t go in, don’t go long.

18:19 · Charles V.Yeah. But we do think about going short. When the fifth ends.

18:22 · DrewOkay. Okay. And this is kind of your, you know, your way that you will ride all this fucking noise well, you know what I mean, all this shit’s going on and then you…

18:31 · Charles V.So that sounds really it’s incredibly valuable right? I need this data. I can’t count without it.

18:39 · DrewYeah. Yeah. But like when you but after you make your entry you know what I mean where most like as far as a swing goes like you’re waiting for a whole fucking you know potentially the whole wave to play out or you know if it’s a whole third, yeah okay I guess you…

19:00 · Charles V.Why would you say it?

19:01 · DrewYeah no it’s the whole active weapon I guess. But it just it feels like you hold through so much.

19:02 · Charles V.Yeah, why would you not?

19:04 · DrewYeah. Okay.

19:06 · Charles V.Like if I can count a C of whatever wave, why wouldn’t I just add more?

19:11 · DrewYeah. Yeah, 100%.

19:17 · Charles V.That’s what you’re doing, you’re building out. So to count the fifth on the way top of what is a third, not a fifth, why don’t I just scale out?

19:22 · DrewYeah. Right. Yeah, okay.

19:27 · Charles V.Okay so this combined, the two lessons into one, but now I need you to tell me, remember the point of this was to show me the block. So we’ve already established that whatever you were doing needs fine tuning, and this is fine tuned, so that’s great. Now what I need you to do is read through the four steps of those blocks.

19:44 · DrewOkay, so corrective waves. So recognizing what it is, the scale is…

19:49 · Charles V.No, first start at the impulse, you didn’t read the fourth of that.

19:54 · DrewOkay. Um, Elliott’s impulse, so recognizing what it is, so a five wave structure, one two three four five moving in the direction of a larger trend. Key tells, wave three is never the shortest, wave two and wave four never overlap, except in a diagonal. And this is where it’s like mind fucking me right? It’s like those overlappings and obviously it’s just you know, I gotta learn it and then I’ll be able to see it. But um… yeah. So except in diagonals and each impulsive leg subdivides into five waves itself. Momentum should be increasing or holding strong through wave three, then diverging on wave five. I thought that was actually a good thing about the notes. Um not the three necessarily but the divergence on wave five. Um…

20:18 · Charles V.Oh yeah, look look at the number what what you’re not doing right now, zoom out to the daily or the weekly.

20:42 · DrewOh it’s on replay. You got to take off replay.

21:05 · Charles V.Oh just top left, don’t press it, just go to the daily.

21:07 · DrewOkay.

21:09 · Charles V.Okay, zoom in. Is wave five an increase in volume or not?

21:14 · DrewYeah. It is.

21:19 · Charles V.No no. Wave five.

21:24 · DrewOh I’m sorry. That’s the top of your wave three. Yeah yeah that’s the highest, that’s the highest volume, what the fuck am I talking about. The biggest increase is like through wave three. Um…

21:36 · Charles V.The wave five is the fools rally. That’s not strongly backed, and where you want to switch not continue. So that’s the point. You can tell it by the volume signature. Within the volume signature and even if you see the wave three to the left on the 19th or the 20th or whatever. That thing no, left, left, the third of the third. Even that third has more volume. And remember what we’re looking at at the top of the fifth is a blow off top. So I’m talking about the third compared to the fifth. So just look at what I’m saying. The bar on the 20th, that’s the top of the third of the third. The bar on the 21st, that’s the top of the fifth on the third, which has more volume.

21:56 · DrewYeah.

22:16 · Charles V.It recurs over and over and over again, unless we have an extended fifth. So the point is just recognizing this. Like there’s, there’s, on the to the one to the right is a blow off top.

22:21 · DrewLike this guy?

22:27 · Charles V.Yeah, that’s a blow off top. That’s a very heavy push which is a buying climax after PS shown to mostly go down, that is mostly demand.

22:33 · DrewYeah.

22:38 · Charles V.Right? So the point is… it recurs over and over and over again.

22:43 · DrewOkay. And like so, and this is gonna sound stupid cause obviously it’s like, you know, the objective to kind of trap you, but people are like at times there’s people going in here like “oh my god I’m gonna miss it” FOMO, like this is where it hits in that five wave?

22:49 · Charles V.Always.

22:55 · DrewWow.

23:01 · Charles V.Max, max the highest highs when people get the most excited, always.

23:06 · DrewI’m so glad I’m learning all this with levels and obviously there’s so much more to learn but even even this stuff you know seeing like get out.

23:15 · Charles V.The point telling you this for is because you’re not looking at any of that yet, but that is part of all the Elliott’s wave stuff that you’ve not you’ve just completely omitted, which is fine, it’s a layer. The point is is that I asked you what is your four step for Elliott’s wave, not corrective, just the Elliott’s wave impulse.

23:32 · DrewYep. Yep. So with the uh noticing that on the fifth wave um correctively reading an impulse means you’re trading with the dominant move instead of fading it. This is where your biggest R multiples come from. Misreading a correction as an impulse or vice versa is the direct cause of getting stopped out on what would actually be a just a pullback or missing the real trend because you thought it was a correction. So use the shortest wave rule as a hard filter. If a potential wave 3 is the shortest of wave 1, 3, or 5, the count is wrong. Remap it. Confirm each leg with your break of structure gates, rather than eyeballing wave shape alone. Watch for wave 5 momentum divergence as your early warning sign that the impulse is ending and a correction of one of the three types…

24:35 · Charles V.Remember stop. Pause there. Look at the momentum of the blue line of your third wave compared to the momentum of the blue line of your fifth wave.

24:42 · DrewYeah.

24:49 · Charles V.Is it increasing in speed or decreasing in speed?

24:51 · DrewDecreasing. Yeah.

24:52 · Charles V.That’s what you just said, visualize it.

24:55 · DrewRight. Okay.

24:57 · Charles V.Those lines have a use.

25:00 · DrewYeah, okay. Yeah. Watching like this divergence even from like the bottom of wave four there, right? Um… okay.

25:09 · Charles V.It recurs. Over and over and over and over.

25:10 · DrewFuck. And like, could you base your cut just off of that? Like…

25:14 · Charles V.I do.

25:18 · DrewWow. Fuck man.

25:22 · Charles V.That’s why I keep telling you you’re you’re cutting an external. Go ahead. I mean… getting out there’s not a bad trade. Most people would kill for that.

25:32 · DrewRight. Yeah I want your trades.

25:34 · Charles V.Well they’re they’re with full weight too right so that’s the point is just you understanding like… I haven’t sold anything. I am not selling anything. I’m selling it when the wave count tells me to sell something.

25:46 · DrewYeah. Yeah. Yup, doesn’t matter in between. Wow. Okay. So for me where in my day does it work? Yeah? You go.

25:51 · Charles V.No, no, that’s right.

25:56 · DrewUm live, so at structure confirmation gate in my checklist, right? When I’m deciding if a move is an impulse um to trade with it, or corrective to wait. Uh, retroactive, same back testing take each impulse leg or corrective before checking how it resolved. So misreads between impulse and correction show up. Right?

26:26 · Charles V.I mean, if you’re not counting correctly, then yeah, it’s wrong. And anyone anytime could be proven wrong a million different ways. But it’s the levels of confluence stacking these things together tells us there’s a really high probability that this thing is the thing.

26:34 · DrewYeah. Yeah. Okay.

26:43 · Charles V.Like even look at the top of the fifth. Even if you did nothing at the entire top of that range. There’s a range breaker after the top of the fifth pointing down. That engulfs the top two candles. The dark one, yeah, that. That’s your entry.

26:56 · DrewThis guy. Yeah, yeah. Right.

27:02 · Charles V.Yeah. That’s your sniper entry that you’d be taking. I mean I’d be in earlier than that, but the point is is that yeah.

27:07 · DrewThat’s crazy. Oh man. That’s crazy. Yeah. Okay. Cool. So, corrective waves I had next. That was it for the fourth step on the impulse.

27:19 · Charles V.Yeah, you’ve done the corrective waves, um, you’ve drawn them here, but the point is, uh, just what is the fourth step from your corrective? Because are you talking simple correctives or… complex?

27:30 · DrewNo, like, yeah, no, more so like ABCs. Um…

27:35 · Charles V.So just read the fourth step and we’ll call it there.

27:38 · DrewOkay. So the skill is spotting a correction while it’s forming, not after it’s obvious in hindsight. Correctively, a three-wave ABC structure instead of a five-wave impulse, overlapping price action, momentum divergence against the prior trend. Noticing that if wave 2 was sharp, wave 4 should be sideways. Complex, or vice versa. The tell isn’t just price is choppy, it’s the internal wave count breaking the five wave impulse rhythm. How will it benefit my future? So this is where uh corrective wave misreads cost the most. Mistaking a corrective ABC for the start of a new impulse move, probably how many times I’ve done this, um, is one of the classic ways traders get faked out and enter early against the eventual continuation. Future you avoids premature entries inside a correction, holding through drawdown because you mis… um… you misjudged it as just a pullback and mismanaging risk because you didn’t know which correction type, zigzag, flat, triangle, you were in. Each has different depth and time… um… each has different depths and time um expectations for your OTE and invalidation levels. So how can I harness it? So before tagging a move as corrective, check it against your gate um checklist. Structure: does it actually break break of structure or… break break of structure or just pause? Also, use the rules of ult… use the alternation rule actively. If wave 2 already happened, let it set your expectation for wave 4’s shape or… for wave 4’s shape. Don’t uh diagnose wave 4 in a vacuum. And where in my day does it work best? So this one is less of a morning ritual and more built into my workflow. It fits at the exact moment you’re doing structure analysis, so the checklist, um, before an entry. I.E. part of your gate checklist itself, not as a separate practice session. Um… which I think that part I could take out cause it’s like it should be it can be a separate practice session. But, I also went into saying like the natural pairing… or they are both the natural pairing.

28:34 · Charles V.Yeah, so let’s just modify things. Your… uh… what we just did proves, I mean, for the most part, that you can draw a corrective wave.

29:30 · DrewOkay.

30:26 · Charles V.And an impulse wave. When it’s clear.

30:29 · DrewOkay.

30:32 · Charles V.So. Now, one block is Elliott’s wave, which is impulse and corrective. It’s counting waves, up and down. That’s one. The next block is complex corrections. The next block… well, let’s reverse the order. So after the book, the first block is leading diagonals. The second block is complex corrections.

31:02 · DrewWait wait. Book is first? Or no?

31:04 · Charles V.Books always first.

31:06 · DrewOkay. Book first. um, second was the… okay.

31:10 · Charles V.Third is complex corrections.

31:14 · DrewThird complex corrections. So like the zigzags flats…

31:21 · Charles V.And fourth is… It’s the complex, so like double and triple threes, triangles, all this shit.

31:26 · DrewOkay.

31:31 · Charles V.And then the fourth is the full Elliott’s wave. Whether it be a regular, standard, sharp ABC or a complex or whatever rule of alternation with nothing crazy, or just a simple five wave followed by a corrective. It doesn’t matter. It’s all things into an actual real-time from smallest, like we just did here, to the macro.

31:56 · DrewAll on one… chart. Okay.

32:00 · Charles V.That’s that’s Elliott’s wave period. Like all of it.

32:03 · DrewOkay. Like remember that big line that I took off to combine that um like for the higher timeframe and put them all on there?

32:14 · Charles V.Well I mean, so just understand what we’ve just done. We’ve just confirmed that the top of wave one is a wave one.

32:18 · DrewYeah.

32:21 · Charles V.That fifth is the top of your wave one that you drew.

32:24 · DrewYeah.

32:26 · Charles V.So we know that so far. So we don’t need all the rest of the noise of small timeframes on there. You can delete them if you want, you can keep them if you want. I’m just telling you what we’ve done so far is one Elliott’s wave block of doing both impulsive and corrective to a swing from a swing.

32:42 · DrewGotcha. I gotcha. I’m following.

32:43 · Charles V.It’s telling us this this thing is telling us the direction. Right. From the lows. Right. And that’s up. That’s it. That that’s the the whole block of Elliott’s wave combined as one. And now your job is to refine with leading and complexes, which we have not talked about, but were present here but we just kind of went through them which is uh went past them which is not a big deal as long as you get the gist. But the point is to play them in real time, you need an understanding of how they actually are printing.

33:15 · DrewOkay. So learn uh what what were they? Complex?

33:20 · Charles V.Block one is book. Block two is leading diagonals. Block three is complex corrections. Block four is Elliott’s wave.

33:25 · DrewFull Elliott wave. Yep.

33:30 · Charles V.And we’re gonna start from where we left off, so this is a moving forward cumulative thing, so this five wave, you never look back at it other than knowing that it’s just wave one from the lows. You can study it as much as you want, but you should not be zoomed in on unless you’re like you can go back in here and scan all of what you missed in what were leading diagonals that you didn’t see cause you didn’t zoom in far enough, and complex corrections, and then map those. Accurately.

33:45 · DrewOkay.

34:00 · Charles V.And the corrections, remember what I’m asking you is, every single correction we have here is an ABC. But what you’ve not done, which we did do on the way up, you did not map those internally. So map them internally. Like make this as complete as possible without confusing yourself with too many overlapping things. And how you do this is you start from scratch. You should be able to count this a thousand different times without having it mapped on. Like I’m saying from scratch.

34:12 · DrewYeah. Okay.

34:24 · Charles V.So you don’t need the lines there continuously. You just keep counting it with adding more more detail every time you do it, because you’re learning.

34:35 · DrewOkay. Okay. But I’ll only count now from where we left off from the swing of the second wave, right?

34:41 · Charles V.Well no, remember what what I’m saying to you is: did you include leading diagonals or complex corrections in these… in these counts you did? Okay, so you go back and find all the ones you glazed over and actually draw them in and map them. Cause they’re here.

34:59 · DrewFuck yeah, I could do that with my second block, right? Leading diagonals…

35:06 · Charles V.Your second, and your third. They’re all there every time.

35:13 · DrewAnd not necessarily like like don’t you know with like ending or leading like don’t have one train of thought of like oh focus on this or focus on that. Oh ending and leading, complex corrections like… seems like just kind of pull it all out.

35:22 · Charles V.Well but piece by piece. Right.

35:32 · DrewOkay. So I’ll go back…

35:34 · Charles V.You’re not looking for complex or any sort of corrective when you’re doing leading diagonals.

Nothing was reordered and nothing was removed from the middle. The recording stops mid-sentence because the session moved on to private matters and was cut there; nothing is missing before that point. The language is blunt throughout and the student is hard on himself in places, which is left in, because a session edited to flatter the people in it would not be worth publishing. It is a teaching session, not a track record, and nothing in it is a performance claim; the documented results live on the protocol results page, with sample sizes attached.
