Narrate the tape. One bar, then the next.
Reading the tape is narration. You take one bar, hold it against the last, and say out loud what just happened: did it close decisively, did it make new ground, and is it getting easier or harder to push? This class does exactly that on ETH, through the April 2025 low and the range it built afterwards. Charles reads the low himself first, then the students take the range and narrate it bar by bar, out loud, getting corrected when the number or the direction is wrong. It finishes by counting the whole move with Elliott Wave.
What the class covers
- 01
Absorption, exhaustion, and the footprint
The class picks up mid-thought on two ways a fall stops. A high-volume bar against the trend is stopping power, the brakes going on. Exhaustion is quieter: less distance on less volume, bar after bar, which means the sellers are running out, not that buyers have arrived. A student asks whether those bars are getting stronger; the answer is to flatten the channel and read it sideways. Then a look ahead at the volume footprint, where a bar that pushes up all the way through but still closes down is attempt without result, and why each tool is learned on its own first. Order flow and CVD, written out.
- 02
The April 2025 low, read bar by bar
ETH on the daily, one bar at a time. A bar that travels an eighth of the distance on double the volume is about sixteen times harder to push down: price is punching a wall, and like a truck at speed it takes time to stop. Then a liquidity sweep into the point of control, the range-breaker change of character, and a control bar that closes past every level in one go. A student calls it a narration, and that is the point: you are reading a story as it unpacks. The written tape-reading guide, with its bar-by-bar simulator.
- 03
The students narrate the range, then count it
A control bar closes past an area that matters. A liquidity sweep takes a level and gives it straight back. Stopping power needs at least 1.5 times the prior bar’s volume and no new close. Bars are compared like with like inside the range, and every read ends on one question, with no target: more up, more down, or undecided? The mistakes are left in. Then the count: five waves and an ABC, one-two of the third, alternation between waves two and four, and why the right timeframe is the one that prints the clearest signal. The Wyckoff schematics and Elliott Wave, written out.

0:00 · Charles VincentIf we have what would be, again, you can flip it on a different timeframe, but if this moves down and has a high volume signature counter trend, what is that? Stopping. It’s preliminary support. And then if it bounces channels or whatever and then rolls past it and then has some sort of selling climax, but then this happens, like this is the, it’s a more clear and easy to decipher in my opinion, exhaustion. It doesn’t mean that it’s... because what’s happening, the difference of mechanics, right? Just think about it. This one, if we see this, and actually just take this out of the equation, let’s compare stopping power to exhaustion. They both stop it. This stops as well. Absorption is like overextended stopping power. The point is, sorry, overextended selling climax. The point is that when this is moving down, this tells us clearly there is nothing left. There is no... We’re meeting a point of diminishing returns. So what that means is not that there are buyers, but there are no sellers, which is, remember, doesn’t mean that there are buyers. So what that means is, yet. And usually what happens is, is a consolidation around a period to assess. This is the market doing that little Wyckoff range to assess where is the want to move up or down? Where is the ease to move up or down? And then what happens is that institutional, okay, we’re moving this way, that change of character, that’s the final tell. So in this period of what is decreasing volume, we can just go sideways for an indefinite amount of time until we see the actual tell that, hey, there are the buyers.
1:42 · Charles VincentWe don’t need a lot of buyers to do a retrace. Yeah.
1:46 · StudentAnd I was just going to the market, but like the, that change of character, that’s our SOS out of our schematic after all of it. Right?
1:54 · Charles VincentYeah. I mean, it’s the LPS. It can be. Yeah, yeah. If it breaks the range top, you’re out. But that’s the point, right? It’s really cool, because there’s only so many of these just the same thing as solving for x. There’s only so many variables. In this place, they’re all variations of a specific set amount of things. And so if we can just identify on, remember, the time frame is critical, roll in them. Because even in this example, we can actually start now, if you guys want. The point is, what you just said there, This is an example of all of those things, which is brilliant that we’re actually sequentially on this place.
2:29 · StudentSorry. Can I ask something about that exception part that you were showing?
2:37 · Charles VincentYeah, for sure.
2:39 · StudentI love when you ask questions, actually get a lot of his questions. Yeah, sorry. Oh, I like your question. It’s a good thing when you ask questions. So thank you. Yeah, thank you. Yeah, that was great. Okay. If we try to interpret these bearish candles, the way that we... No, the right one, the actual one. Yeah. Especially the last three bearish candles. Yeah. If we try to interpret them candle by candle, we can see that the strength of these bearish move is increasing because the same price displacement is happening with less volume. But we know in the big picture, this can be interpreted in a way that the sellers are
3:43 · Charles VincentThat’s exactly it. That is the the term, the definition of exhaustion and it’s it’s twofold just like reading the tape, right? So smaller spread and smaller participation Right usually coinciding with some sort of like what?
3:58 · StudentYeah, but but if I try to just read them tape Handle by candle it can be misleading you can you can see that that bearish move is increasing power
4:10 · Charles VincentWell, this is where you have to just... so I can’t... I don’t think I can draw this on this... like this. Anyways, this... see it as a channel. Top and bottom, right? All we’re looking for is just remember that what is a diagonal, just make it flat in your head and see bar by bar are we getting an increase? Because remember, a trend strengthening is volume and spread, or at least volume with no less spread. The increasing volume is a sign that we’re coming to a stop. But the point is this is twofold. So both less distance, less spread and less volume. That’s the tell that this is weakening. Just like if it were going up, right? Same difference.
5:11 · StudentYeah. This is like a proper, you know, kind of Elliott’s wave. You know what we want to see in a healthy, right? In a healthy trend, right? Like proper volume.
5:20 · Charles VincentWell, this is a dying trend, right? Like that image.
5:24 · StudentRight, yeah. It’s not healthy, Wyckoff, [unclear] Wyckoff. But like with the volume interaction, with the candle interaction, I think I get what Emad was saying though, right? Emad with, like if you were playing it candle by candle, I guess he felt that could be.
5:42 · Charles VincentYeah, I mean, you’re supposed to, he’s not like the difference is to always make it flat, like in your head, right? So just understand this, right? This is a really good example. This thing is moving down. And so as of right now, like tick, tick, tick, you can see the volume below. This trend is decreasing in participation.
6:03 · StudentRight. That’s what we want to see.
6:05 · Charles VincentYeah. And so the point is like, this one is a, there’s a reason that it’s a high volume, which we don’t have to get into, but the point is just decrease in volume. And then the pause, this pause could easily have been a reversal with count coinciding and whatever. And this thing is a clearly a selling climax, but the point is in all cases, we just follow the volume to tell us like if we have, and this is a really cool example, same thing selling climax, without the POC on here, this is near invisible to actually, I want to give you an advanced, since you’re asking me, yeah this is great, an advanced view of this, of what it actually is, because there is a whole bunch of game that is just, it’s, can you guys not see the, is the POC showing or no?
6:51 · StudentIt is, but it’s like it’s...
6:53 · Charles VincentYeah, that’s what I was going to say.
6:55 · StudentYeah, that’s good.
7:02 · Charles VincentOkay, so what we want to do, and I’m going to give you a little bit more... Don’t try to add this, but know that this is still there for you when you’re ready. So this is... Oh, shit. I can’t do this here. Fuck, I’ll do this on Bitcoin. It applies in all places, it applies in all timeframes, same as everything else. We just, this is the volume footprint candle. This is a real time actual print of what is CVD visualized on candle, on chart. And so there’s all of the things we just talked about, but are visible per move. So for example, we can see as they’re happening, what’s happened. So for the example of this, let me just try to find a clean tell. So in these instances, when we have, we can see that what the actual, these are market orders. So the numbers here are the net market orders. Okay, so this is 581 net for this one, market orders down, right, supply. And then the inverse, market orders net up. And the difference that this in golf means there is a higher probability of up, even though substantially lesser volume. Right, that’s the difference of effort versus result, that there is an imbalance up. The point is that as these things, you can actually zoom right in and see the the CVD visualized real time and how it actually plays out.
8:43 · Charles VincentI’m actually going to go real close. So the tells of this stuff. So sometimes we’ll get moves that are just beautiful in, they tell us so much more of the story because as we’re, is this too complex? Like, do you guys understand what the...
9:01 · StudentOh, I loved it. Emad, have you seen this stuff? Yeah, I’ve seen, but I haven’t get very deep into that. Yeah. So he knows his stuff.
9:11 · Charles VincentI’m just going to give you a quick brief over. So this, just like a clock, just like a value area high and low, this is that it projects forward on every candle. So that’s one part of it. The difference is the important things of what is the high clusters, which is it actually this is as relevant to support and resistance, are imbalances, stacked imbalances that are colored. That’s the tell. If candle closes below that thing, there’s a higher probability of down. If candle closes below the clock, there’s a higher probability of down. It’s just like an area of resistance. Right, so the point is that’s one side of them. I’m not trying to focus on that though. It’s just it’s on the chart. This tells you breakdown of what it actually is tick by tick, line by line. And so this is not the right... this pair has inaccurate volume but it’s... I can still show it to you. So what I’m trying to show you... This has, remember we’re looking at comparing these, this plus this plus this. Now look at the difference. These two, they’re actually pushing up. There is a net up push but yet bearish candle below the POC without making a high. That is real time. I can zoom into the one minute and show you more clearly, but the point is in real time, this is printing and telling you we’re trying to push up, but only downward progress is happening. So that’s actually how you spot what is exhaustion flipping to a turn.
10:38 · StudentWow.
10:39 · Charles VincentIt’s super cool once you get in there, again, this is not, we’re not there yet, but the point is this all cracks forward. Just like this same thing we’re looking at. Remember net up, net up. So what that’s telling us is it’s pushing up, but still getting bearish results. And so what that means is it’s attempts, but failing. So we are getting, we’re going down because the market is telling us down regardless of what we’re trying to do. This control bar tells us confirmation of that. And then the inverse is true, right? So all the way down to flip to, what is this candle telling us? What like that, that thing, there’s, there’s a massive imbalance between what is this? Remember, push down. What do we get bullish candle, right? this is real time, so fucking useful, especially when breaking the range lows, control barring back up after what is the stopping power, etc. It’s super cool to dissect this further. We’ll go here in another time.
11:41 · Student[unclear] you watch me a little bit, I know they’re not like hand in hand, but you’re on your website there, the anatomy of a candle, right?
11:49 · Charles VincentThey are there. If you can start like, what I’m trying to get you guys to do is roll all of it together. Yeah. Right. Like when I catch things,
11:58 · StudentYeah, like anatomy of the candle.
11:59 · Charles VincentYeah. Like, like in this one, this, even though this has a high volume signature compared to the prior, this is, I would bet money on it that it shows a CVD divergence of attempt, but lack of result because the wick is partially visible. But the point is, is that that tells us, nope. And what does it mean for distance? Again, separate. But the key is all the information is there, and we can actually track it bar by bar real time by noting the difference of CVD on the bottom, that those bottom bars were cumulative volume Delta. It is the net difference of market orders. So the point is like actual real time wants to go there versus, and it’s weight, right? Like they’re, they’re upsized. Anyways, I don’t want to go too deep down that, but the point was in this instance, it’s what is preliminary support, selling climax, punching the wall, making no new lows, and then lack of participation immediately engulfed. Double spread, half distance, 400% imbalance up to reclaim. Does it tell us targets? No. But that, that’s the textbook of what it often looks like. It’s that selling climax, high volume, did it make any distance at close? And then the turn is the key. That imbalance tells us so much information. Again,
13:15 · StudentWithin the automatic rally, like tells us so much.
13:19 · Charles VincentWell, it’s not in the, this is a different thing, right? Like what we’re looking at is a leading diagonal with an ABC. This is ABC. The point is this is a very complex, messy one, but, but in this, what we’re looking for is, is there a bullish order flow or a bearish order flow continual up? And then what is the, the, of this move from, from this, this low is this telling us, remember count, we have, this is a expanding flat it’s complex, but the point is when it went down past that immediately back up, same thing, just what is, what is it telling us there? There are two to roll together on this low of a timeframe is difficult. So that’s why I want to stick to the higher ones. But the point is, is that all of this stuff when broken down individually, you can then learn to stack. But if you try to learn it at once, like TPOs and all the other layered shit. It’s a very difficult fucking ask, which is why I like just for simplicity, all this shit doesn’t matter. This is a control bar
14:17 · StudentThat tells us range. And it holds you back when you start combining it all too. You know what I mean? Like you said, you just look back and you’re like, you know, didn’t need to add all this stupid shit for the time that I’m at, you know? Yeah. It feels like
14:31 · Charles VincentYou do. It feels like you should be adding more, but the point is with each of these, which each thing, tape just by itself you can trade profitably if you learn it well enough. If you don’t, in my opinion, it’s not time to move or stack anything else yet. That’s as crazy as it sounds, counterintuitive, that’s the truth of what I learned through many painful years of doing this shit. And so take it and use it or not, it’s up to you guys. But the key is just... Just recognize you can’t add something properly, like efficiently, unless you’re living in this place. I mean like, you know, greater than full-time hours per week, every week, no matter what. Then it’s a different type of thing that rolls together. You just get, it’s immersion therapy. But if you’re just in and out, it may not stick to those muscles of atrophy unless you’re hammering the fuck out of them. Anyways, I’ll shut the fuck up and we’re gonna start on tape because I’ll just go ahead and monologue for a bit. Did all that make sense or no?
15:37 · StudentYeah, that was great.
15:40 · Charles VincentEmad, does that track or no?
15:43 · StudentYeah, yeah, yeah. I’m trying to add all of them together in my mind and then subtract them and focus on things that I need to do right now.
15:54 · Charles VincentYeah, yeah. And again, like the final boss for where you should end up is real time CVD and using all of those, what I just showed you, that’s in the future. Like we can, we can get there over time, but it’s complex. And so unless, you know, POC like the back of your hand or TPO, which is the same as POC like the back of your hand, and then the reading the tape through those things, and then the CVD combined, it’s a fucking, it’s a lot of information. What’s actually easiest is to have those on separate charts. So large monitor, four screens, one is TPO, one is just tape, one is divergences, one is whatever the lower time frame confluence with things. Like there’s, that’s why there’s so many traders with massive screens. Like I used to, I’m on a laptop right now, but for the majority of my trading I was on a massive, with like my monitor was 48 inches, beautiful OLED, 4K and all this stuff. And it was just it was it was so fucking useful to absorb all that shit. It wasn’t always the most healthiest delivery of it. But the point is that if you have them separate, so much easier than if you stack them on one chart, it’s it’s literally like the brain cancer like you cannot see through what is the noise that you don’t know that it’s there. It’s just like a malignant thing just like blocking your vision. So you have to separate them.
17:17 · StudentCharles, I could just imagine you back in the day in front of a wide screen monitor, just, oh my God, to be a fly on that wall.
17:27 · Charles VincentThat was what you have right now, like your 21 by 9, 48 inch or whatever, that was like the main one. And then I had the laptop on the side and then I had another 48 inch above it. And they were all with different parts and different things, right? Like it was, it was like the crazy scientists laboratory for years.
17:44 · Student[unclear] you’re Bitcoin miners in the background and you’re worth blowing.
17:48 · Charles VincentThe whole block is humming like a jet engine.
17:52 · StudentLike an electric car coming down the street.
17:54 · Charles VincentNo, not an electric car, like a drag race fucking revving up the river, but always.
18:00 · StudentOh my god.
18:03 · Charles VincentOkay, so let’s start here. So I’m gonna go through this range, I’m just gonna read the tape. We’re not going to add too much stuff and we can, since you guys already saw the volume profile deal, we’re just going to have it on. Actually, will this, what was the last time, what was the error of this? Did I have to close the chart? I think.
18:27 · StudentI can’t remember. I think you did. Let me just, can you see? Can you guys see it? Yeah, yeah, I can see it.
19:13 · Charles VincentOkay, so I’m just going to delete this because I want to talk about these three candles first, but we’ll add a number after. So what we’re trying to do, I can’t remember exactly what bar we stopped on. Thank you. But it’s, Drew just said, strong move down. This, just in spread compared to this is something I would say roughly, let’s call it, I think 800% is more close to accurate. So this is one eighth of this roughly, but it required double the volume. So we just take one eighth and double that. So it’s one sixteenth as efficient to push or 1600% harder, whatever way makes more sense in your brain. So that thing is Followed with no external flows. And then the candle after that, these two combined, is half the participation but around 300% the distance. Which means that with half the effort required, we’ve traveled 300%. So half gas times 300 is 600% ease. Now it does not make a close passing. anything. It’s still internal of what was the spread or the way. And so the difference now we have to assess this line is still we applied all points put a sideways to see is this making new ground or not new ground because this is telling us it’s punching a wall. That’s the the definition of punching a wall. Just like a truck though it takes time to stop that level of inertia, that level of force is not an instant move and that’s what this is.
20:54 · Charles VincentThis range, the stop and range is exactly what it looks like. So in most instances that stop is dipped further past. Sometimes it’s swept and that’s fine. It’s the reaction that we were trying to pay attention to and especially relatively that volume, massive compared to prior. So when we zoom in it’s you know regular but it’s huge. So we have to take note and then the difference of after we’ve swept this that we’ll call it roughly double with roughly double actually let’s let’s uh let’s compare the first one first so this maybe I don’t know just say a third the spread prior with double the volume so that distance up actually that they’re about relatively same Let’s just use that for round numbers. So that ratio to this ratio, we’ll call it roughly the same. It’s still a little bit easier to push up in this instance. We could see they’re not exact, but the point is it’s not a massive imbalance, slightly easier to push up, but that’s not the move we’re supposed to be actually measuring it to. It’s what did it engulf prior, it encloses. So now that stacked on top of this one, something like this, this high of volume, compared to this. This is something like double. Double the volume prior, so half the amount of gas with double the distance. And just simply, if we’re assuming double the distance, half the gas required, how much of it imbalances it here to push up?
22:36 · StudentIt’s four times.
22:37 · Charles VincentExactly. Right? And so...
22:39 · StudentYou got a 400.
22:40 · Charles VincentNow, that thing that matters most, it tells us, and I’ll slap the thought down in a second, but what we’re trying to assess is, is there follow-through? Clearly not, right? Like 75% retrace, good amount of volume, but what that tells us, remember, all it tells us in this instance is, if it’s 50% more or more of a retrace, not going up yet, which is fine. we just have to then assess to read the tape of what’s actually printed. And so, let’s now put the clock on. So, in this example, this is not a real-time thing. I don’t think I can actually replay it forward. Actually, here, let’s see. Okay, so it isn’t here. The difference is, not useful yet, but we’re trying to assess, is this thing... Remember, is more volume coming in or less volume? This is where it gets... just like a close can be a wick above a prior close and that means something. Remember, it doesn’t say how far, but it means something. This wick, that what is the slight close above the MA, is also something. That tells us that there is a high participation. What does it mean for this example on this time frame? Well, you can’t tell a whole bunch unless you zoom in and actually recognize that this is an OTE bounce. But the point is that it tells us that there is some sort of participation. not a whole lot to use from that, but what is the follow through to track that? Again, I don’t want to go down in the weeds of lower time frames in this class, just because it’s, they will confuse, will make it more difficult.
24:22 · Charles VincentBut you guys have questions?
24:23 · StudentSo even a tick on the MA is, you know, to look at, like, because I look at how important it closes versus wick on a candle, the same thing goes for the volume on the MA.
24:35 · Charles VincentYeah, but also it tracks in a way that like, remember what we’re trying to do, we’re trying to assess this thing. I’m going to simplify this. We already know it printed. We already know what it did. We’re going to cheat, but we’re going to cheat in a useful way. So top of the range, bottom of the range, right? Just simply. And so what I want to see, this range. What is the important area that the trampoline in the middle? That thing, is it respected or is it not respected? And as I move linearly, so just sideways, am I seeing strength of follow through or immediate retrace? High participation? Remember, comparatively. So between these two, about half the spread, a little bit more, but more volume. So we’re something in the range of it’s now 200% harder to push down. Right? this tells us the inverse of that. It’s still so 200% harder to push down. This is the opposite. Is there a strong follow through? Not really. I mean the participation and this is where I remember lower volume than the MA. That actually matters a lot. Yes a close but not a strong close. So we don’t have a full tell of follow through yet. We just know it’s slight ease to push down with an engulfing. This is the tell. This is it’s really cool because we once we identify these things, whatever this is the the direct imbalance, we then start rolling what is the pairs. Super useful. So a move followed by a stop with higher volume, a move followed by a stop with higher volume.
26:17 · Charles VincentThose are how we identify turns. So again on a daily and then zoomed in to get the real granularity of it, but the point is that tells us there is now a want to move up or an inability to move down paired with what is a want to move up or get. Zoom in and see more. But the point is next candle half roughly spread the ratios are about the same so it’s about an equal imbalance right on the POC. Now is there a strong move up? Definitely not. Is there an imbalance growing for ease to push up or difficulty to push down? Yes. And then the next one tells us again a whole bunch of critical information. This is large, so liquidity sweep, punching a wall, the wall is the POC. This is what? One, two, three, four, roughly four times the spread, double the volume, 800% between these two candles while on the POC. And then just like every other thing, I’m gonna just just in this instance because entries are important. That’s the low, this is a range that’s a change of character range breaker there’s a that thing that that tell of member lack of participation immediate 50% breaching all of the lows and then immediately telling us control bar inability to close down this this is a perfect support bounce with another range breaker.
28:11 · Charles VincentThese little subtle tells are enough, but then even if you’re zoomed out, this thing, where it ends after here is around $5,000 for this. Not instantly, but the point is, how we play this is, what is this if it’s at the lows and telling us that there is an imbalance growing to difficulty to push down and ease to push up and a want and participation to push up. So these things are critical but again, linearly you have to checklist one of them at a time through the checklist or else they get very confusing. So this is a more complex
28:52 · StudentRange but did that make sense so far? Yeah it makes sense to me and I see it as a big narration because I see that at the beginning we have obviously we obviously see that the bullish side is stronger then we see a balance between the bearish side and bullish side around the punch and then that move starts exactly and
29:28 · Charles VincentAnd what you just said there that word narration it is that the the The reason why it’s called reading the tape is because you’re reading a story as it unpacks. You’re narrating what is actually taking place real time. It’s so beautiful to actually just if you’re tracking it one by one and then what is stacked versus when it should be stacked. Like this, that control bar engulfing all of these down candles is what type of imbalance. It is closing above the neckline, the neckline and the range. So let’s start with first, we have now a momentum tell. This is a control bar, obviously massive spread closing above the [unclear] There’s a creek, there’s multiple things, this is up. But right now what we’re running into is prior resistance. This should have a break, like a pause, a reaccumulation schematic. So now what we have to do is assess. Start from here and work your way here. And I’ll just print this as we go.
31:05 · StudentOkay. The second... Are you hitting a reaccumulation schematic there because of that resistance?
31:14 · Charles VincentFor any reason, like if it’s overextended in price or if it’s also meeting or separately meeting an area of resistance, like this is the problem, right? Most people, so they’re looking at this, right? And it stops this weak candle, but they’re not recognizing it’s hitting a wall. Like that thing is a huge amount of resistance. It
31:33 · StudentShould say. Yeah it’s got a grind for all that shit right it’s got to chop through all that.
31:37 · Charles VincentIt doesn’t have to but the point is it most probably will. Right. And so our gauge now is to assess is momentum losing just like this we’re just narrating as it tells us is it going further higher more bullish or less bullish just that’s it simply and just play it when there’s closes control bars that tells the intention we just use those things knowing that this is an area of resistance and that we should expect some sort of sideways maybe a reversal but also if it tells us within it and just play what
32:10 · StudentIt tells us yeah okay okay and also I like I like to know how we identify
32:21 · Charles VincentThat control bars this is just simply a thing that is so a control bar as a change of character. What that means is we have, I’ll identify all the areas, the key points, just so you can see. So control bar is something breaking past an area of importance. Closing past, sorry. So what this is is closing past this neckline, this neckline, these closes, and the entire range. That is an incredibly strong tell. So, control bar is again just say it as change of character. There is a creek in here that is I don’t want to get too lost there but the point is there’s a creek here it’s breaking them all it’s telling us higher. It doesn’t say how much of course but to note these stacked breaking all of them one like one break is something probably a support bounce stair step up for some degree but breaking all of them that’s a lot of force especially when it doesn’t require that much volume, if that makes sense.
33:31 · StudentYeah, yeah.
33:32 · Charles VincentOkay, go ahead. I’ll just delete these.
33:41 · StudentYeah, that’s a perfect example of the beach ball under the water and it doesn’t need the volume to, you know, pop off like that, right?
33:47 · Charles VincentBut this is the tell, right? This is volume.
33:51 · StudentRight. Yeah, yeah, especially over the moving average. Yeah, yeah, definitely.
33:54 · Charles VincentLike, like, simply, it’s, it’s such a binary thing that people like, don’t get me wrong, this is much less volume and a really fucking cool tell versus like just less but also that little bit about a little bit below that matters yeah yeah okay yeah in that
34:14 · StudentSense of the story I can see that finally the participants decided which way they want to go so that control bar is first sign of that decision okay
34:30 · Charles VincentAnd then just pause for a second. As we’re going through here, if you want me to draw anything, like lines or whatever, just say so and I’ll slap it on.
34:41 · StudentOK, sure.
34:54 · Charles VincentGo ahead.
34:55 · StudentOK, do I need to do something now?
35:00 · Charles VincentI would do in this instance is in every single bar is this like I’m always identifying what is external. Decisive close strong, not decisive close. New highs, new lows. So in essence that’s what I always meant.
35:21 · StudentSo the first part is a decisive one and it closes all the extremes.
35:30 · Charles VincentAnd what’s just to gauge the momentum slowing, increasing? What’s the just do the conversion?
35:37 · StudentThe momentum is slowing Comparing to the last control bar Because it has a relative or relatively same amount of volume
35:50 · Charles VincentBut a small price displacement just ballpark. What is the rough percentage difference? But difficulty. Yeah
36:01 · StudentIt’s around 500% or so good I guess Okay, so the next one is can we zoom in a little bit?
36:19 · Charles VincentYou mean a time frame? Yeah
36:21 · StudentRight here No, no, no, just just just here. Yeah So it it immediately, uh came come came back For more than 50% so that’s something and tried to go down, but massively pushed off because the opening and close of the candle are relatively at the top part of that candle. So it touched the lower time frame, the lower prices, the extremes, but it’s pushed up again. And the volume is small It’s roughly I guess 70 or 75 percent of the last candle and the price displacement Is relatively 70 percent so the I guess it’s the same So there is a balance yeah, yeah
37:31 · Charles VincentAnd the term just for ease of When we’re going through this stuff is just liquidity. So we’re sweeping liquidity sweeping liquidity whenever it’s a thing That is swept and then immediately reversed. That’s just liquidity. There’s different terms for a case. It’s all side. But but the point is just just for these
37:48 · StudentOkay So after that liquidity sweep we have a closed Relatively at the middle of the last candle so we get to the next candle We can see that in decision is getting more and We again see that the close is relatively more than 50% of the last candle So and it we have liquidity sweep on both sides in desk in this candle but We can see that Why the volume is increasing the price displacement is decreasing So yeah, so the volume is increasing around 10% or less I guess But the volume the price displacement is decreasing 40%
38:52 · Charles VincentOkay, so now now the tell is the whatever the the differential is like you’re saying around half or something, right? half the ability or the bullish ability, but the the question what we’re gonna start asking in every example is What do you think comes next? I’m not asking for targets just more up more down undecided
39:13 · StudentYeah, I I guess we should see more down
39:17 · Charles VincentOkay. So, and it’s okay. It’s not a big deal. It’s just the point of, this is how we practice that, that must, this is specifically how we build reps in this place for this thing. And so what we have to gauge is we don’t know, but we have a balance of probabilities. The balance of probabilities tells us that it is much more difficult, double almost to push down here. Does it tell us that it’s going to continue down with, and this is the, the, uh, the cool thing to differentiate in most cases, When we have that spread, that close below the close, that’s the indication of further. Targets aside, that’s...
40:31 · StudentLast two candles shows me that it around 60% volume. It goes more than three times. So it should be around 60%, sorry, 600%, 500%. Higher momentum in the bullish side. But it’s still closing lower than the extreme. that we have touched four candles, there are three candles before, but the whole move is over that control bar. So while it’s still in the bullish zone, it’s not yet showing further move up.
41:24 · Charles VincentSo now-
41:24 · StudentBecause we have the, hey Charles, but because we have the closes above those, Oh, no, actually, no, that’s okay.
41:34 · Charles VincentThat’s what he said. He said now because the control bars are showing above it. So this thing, this matters, right? The point of all of these things matter separately, but the point is I’m going to try to put them all at the same time. We have to gauge. Did it close above it? Was it a control bar? Yes. Very low volume, not much intention. However, it did move up. It did close past the closes. It did swipe both areas of liquidity, but wasn’t able to close past that. So far not straight
42:02 · StudentYeah, I mean just a sip on yeah
42:05 · Charles VincentAnd so a little bit more body than spread but the point is what was next not straight And so if we now take that what is the area of? liquidity swipe past here
42:16 · StudentYeah, yeah, it happened again. It touched higher. We have a liquidity sweep but we can see that that momentum side for the bearish one is relatively equal to the previous one, a little less volume and a little less price displacement. But the important part for me is it touched that top of that control bar and somehow retested it and the price moved higher declared the start of the previous bullish candle. So to me this is a sign of a bullish move but the strength is not yet there. Exactly and so for
43:07 · Charles VincentExample if this were a what is up thrust would be higher volume signature supply entering the arena much more probable of a reversal than this. Right? Not going, not closing past the lows. That’s strength versus not the actual volume to push it past. That’s also not necessarily strength, but it’s not strength of down either. So that’s a good step so far. So let’s go next.
43:42 · StudentYeah, that’s a good one. I guess.
43:47 · Charles VincentWhat is the name of it?
43:48 · StudentGuessed party is it something near a doji I guess it’s it’s a doji that style is
43:55 · Charles VincentDoji but there’s a specific name of after I move a what we’re looking for is a minimum of 1.5 times the volume to qualify for this name which is stopping power so 1.5 times or greater the prior what is moved down with no new closes back in range that is the definition of stopping power doesn’t tell us much further but it tells us there is something preventing us from going further okay so it’s absorption I guess in this instance yet
44:32 · StudentOkay so so we we identified at 1.1 1.5 percent volume and no further closes
44:45 · Charles VincentYeah, yeah, so I mean just just the the qualifications the the prereq for the being called stopping power is a minimum 1.5 the proceeding but this is obviously double so that’s a good thing. It’s still still the stopping power is just now we We can do the imbalance of what is our [unclear] to it.
45:07 · StudentOkay. So I think the signs of moving a big bullish move is completing here.
45:17 · Charles VincentOkay. So now remember the difference just like this, this is not the, our job always when we have a range is to linearly in a, What is as directly comparative movement style compared to? So for example, this candle followed by this candle is the same as this candle followed by this candle.
45:40 · StudentThis is... Yeah, but at higher price.
45:42 · Charles VincentYeah, exactly. But just within the same range is, as long as they’re within the same overlap, roughly, it’s, you can still compare them. They’re not, it won’t be precise, but it will give us a broad tell of, is this, Remember, roughly the same size. More supply or less supply? Is it higher? Remember, if this is an indifference, that’s also an answer, but is this more demand or less demand? Is it ease or difficulty? All of them compare it side by side. So if we just go one by one, this is about double the difficulty. If we go from here to here, it’s about double the difficulty. So does it tell us
46:22 · StudentMuch. Does that make sense? Okay, it’s interesting. You found this repeated pattern, and you’re completing the same
46:33 · Charles VincentCandles together. Exactly. This is what we do in all instances, whenever we have a range, everywhere, it’s always the same thing. And if we have the luxury of a comparative style, like a specific multi sequence, so whether it’s two or three candles or whatever, usually two is enough of a tell. But the point is, we always compare them and even if it’s just one if it’s say I have like six or seven of these similarly sized things throughout here I compare every single one that’s the narration and then the what happens after that always the follow
47:02 · StudentThrough to super cool to actually break down so so we can expect we see
47:08 · Charles VincentA bullish move after that this is telling us stopping power does it tell us the distance or will it continue no we have remember in this picture so far we have nothing of strength confirming any move yet this is telling us it’s not ready to go down further yet and so also it hasn’t shown us up yet so we still have we’re in limbo like just just take as a note this close is still pretty indecisive to what is what is the new range high because remember just in your head this is where it gets more complex but what is this candle plus this candle which one so this one plus this one
47:50 · StudentPlus this one is another doji. No, it’s not
47:54 · Charles VincentThe math I’ll just draw for you. So it’s actually this Yeah, it’s that with a big wick
48:05 · StudentYeah with big
48:07 · Charles Vincent[unclear] Yeah, right and I can’t draw it cuz the size but the point is it’s it’s literally that. So what we’ve done is we’ve created an area of importance, double closes, and we have closed below it here, and we’ve given a slight close above it, but again not enough to tell. We’re still in the indecisive period, but a little bit of the actual tell is coming to light. So let’s just see, what is this, more strength, less strength? By just comparing two candles,
48:45 · StudentIt’s less strength in going down
48:51 · Charles VincentSo more attempt, even less less result like probably 300% compared
48:58 · StudentYeah Yeah, and again that that’s that’s the same thing is happening the price can’t close under that top of that control bar And it doesn’t matter how much the sellers are trying all that orders are absorbing at the bottom
49:27 · Charles VincentI guess and then when we have these two Still same same difference, right? If this is the what is not this comparatively these two versus this one means around double the effort for and that’s an additional 30% of this so roughly 260% difficulty to push down
49:49 · StudentIt’s getting more difficult to go down.
49:52 · Charles VincentExactly. So now what about this one?
49:57 · StudentIt covers... Three bearish candles all together and closes over many extremes, but still in the range. And it touched new prices, but still couldn’t close over that.
50:25 · Charles VincentAnd so now just as a zoomed out picture, remember, there’s the precision of this in this example, doesn’t matter but you must in the back of your head recognize do I have closes making new ground or no ground or less ground like bullishly bearishly or
50:49 · StudentSideways it’s it’s it’s a ball it’s bullish way I guess yeah stair
50:59 · Charles VincentStepping and so this is just what is a reaccumulation schematic so far telling us we’re we’re sideways we’re hitting resistance but we’re grinding through it. This is brilliant. There should be some sort of, actually I don’t want to go over the story but the point is, in most instances this thing is not enough strength, this candle especially, half the half-wick, no proper close above anything other than this. That half, yes it matters, it’s more strong than not. But is it strong enough to close past any of these yet, with higher volume? No. So what would come from this much stronger move maybe but I would I would bet on some sort of retrace first where I don’t know so that thing these two increasing by how
51:48 · StudentMuch do you think I think it’s eight times a smaller price displacement Around 80% volume. So I guess it’s 64 640
52:13 · Charles VincentPercent harder to go up perfect and that’s exactly it right? So is there a follow-through? Is there a new ground made? I wouldn’t say that no matters in this instance, especially with nothing else this also tell so let’s now and And this is after we’re done this range, I’m gonna dissect it We’re gonna actually break down to see what were the tells that were with this together Much much more obvious than if not, so now We’ve made highs and then this immediately does what?
52:48 · StudentCame down twice amount of the previous one with lower volume
52:55 · Charles VincentSo ease down. So what is the highest probable move from here?
53:03 · StudentI can’t say right now.
53:05 · Charles VincentOkay. I would guess just based on what this is, an ease to move down signals further down. Does it give us a target? No. It just tells us that currently the imbalance is roughly about double ease to push down. Does it? Is there much more than that? Like are we on support? Yes. But does it tell us the turn? I wouldn’t say so yet because they’re in my head, but
53:29 · StudentYeah, but but but when I combine these two last candles together I See we have a small push down with lots of volume comparing to the last candle That’s why I said that we can yeah But I combine these two we can see a small push down with with a big volume So that’s why I said that I can’t decide what’s going on this you’re not wrong. Like this is not a
53:59 · Charles VincentDefinitely not a bullish or bearish tell it’s just slight probability ease says down just just mathematically Yeah, because this only got this one so I’m gonna look at her Yeah So next now tells us
54:14 · StudentWhat yeah, that’s a decisive. That’s a relatively decisive close not exactly very big but I remember that you said that small differences are bad that the small differences matters so I can count it as a decisive close and The same value it moved around four times more so I it’s 400% Easier to go down and Considering that the last candle was easier too. So it’s getting very easier to go down
55:00 · Charles VincentYeah, so now the tell in the background, remember if we’re in some sort of what is momentum move up, that thing is, are either of these supplied based on where the volume is? Like is that proper concern? Is there a reason for concern here?
55:23 · StudentWhich one?
55:24 · Charles VincentFor these two bars, is there anything telling us intention yet?
55:30 · StudentNo, no, I don’t think so.
55:32 · Charles VincentExactly. So in this instance, then again, it will make much more sense when we actually dissect it, but the point is down, but how much further? I don’t know. And then this difference, what does that mean?
55:45 · StudentIt’s around 30% more volume with less than 50% price displacement.
55:57 · Charles VincentSo it’s ballpark stopping power, but not an incredible, again, all low volume is still just low volume. But the point is are we closing above what was the prior area
56:08 · StudentOr below it? Remember that tick matters as well. Yeah, I know we’re not closing above it. I think the bearish side is more heavier right now. Yeah, definitely.
56:27 · Charles VincentSo this, that thing tells a massive story. It goes all the way down, right? At some point this was a solid control bar would look like before it closed. We don’t know when it ripped back up but it closed below everything. And then what does that
56:41 · StudentTell us? Yeah it came all the way down but all of that move is absorbed and it got to higher prices. So if I just look at the result and the close of the candle, I can see 20 or 25%, let’s say 20% of price displacement with higher volume. So it’s 500% or so harder to go down.
57:20 · Charles VincentAnd as we’re moving in just mentally keeping some sort of barometer, is it getting easier to push up or easier to push down as a whole? Like noting that also higher closes.
57:37 · StudentAs a whole, I’ve seen several changes of direction comparing the candles. So overall, I think going up is getting easier, but I should put them together, yeah.
57:58 · Charles VincentOkay, and also start from closes. So the highest close to the next close, or to the next bullish candle, this is more or less effort, less result. And then more or less. And we see as we tick down, it’s getting the final result so much harder than all of these. And then double is easy as this. Does it tell where it’s going immediately next? No, we’re still within a range. we’re still not making any substantial closes but there is information. What does that tell us?
58:36 · StudentOkay, can you repeat the last part? Which two should I compare?
58:42 · Charles VincentYeah, so we’re always comparing trends. Like in this example, we’re just comparing what is the highest close down because we’re still in a downtrend right now. And so do we have, just look at the volume bar as we go down, is the effort and result increasing or decreasing bullishly and bearishly separately and then combined. So first this is about half roughly maybe a third of this spread with about the same roughly volume so this is about 300% ease compared to this. These ones these are telling us ease but then incredible difficulty and even more difficulty not as far as comparatively but remember this compared to both of these versus whatever comparison we had prior, this is a massive amount of inability to push down.
59:30 · StudentSo that highest close candle is important? Okay.
59:36 · Charles VincentLike always the lows, what is the lowest close? Is the reading it is just increasing, decreasing, indifferent, increasing, decreasing, indifferent.
59:48 · StudentOkay, okay.
59:51 · Charles VincentSo now that’s clearly a very big bar of a lot of this is called a vertical accumulation. This is the higher highs, higher lows. This is now, remember, in this example, when we’re drawing these things, it’s important to actually recognize what they’re telling us. And this is not a precision, you can go in more clearly and draw it better. But the point is, is this giving us, what is this, a usable schematic on a timeframe? If we zoom in and actually see what were the tells? Let’s go farther. So from the lows, clearly corrective, clearly a selling climax, clearly a five wave. Is this impulsive? Is this corrective? If so.
1:00:46 · StudentYeah, that’s a big five wave up and a whole ABC down like that into it. Okay.
1:00:51 · Charles VincentYeah. And so I’m going to take this off because maybe we didn’t have the luxury of drawing. But this still matters. That line, that middle point is important. But now what we have to gauge is, is this move down, this whatever this is, impulsive or corrective? You guys can see what that is, right? Yeah, it’s corrective. Yeah, clearly right. And so the difference is, of this correction, what we’re looking for is now, same thing, just reading it, I don’t want to go too granularly, but the point is, is that within this range, that low, was it followed through? If so, we gauge that low. Was it followed through? If not, retraced. If there’s respect, and the point is after this thing is what is rebounded, is this a one, two, three, four, five? And is there a clear, remember we’re looking for highly overlapping candles or strong candles? This, there is an ABC within here, if I zoom in further, but the point is if we have impulsive corrective, impulsive corrective and a clear tell of what is the imbalance while the creek is breaking. Remember, all of these things we’re gauging whether or not there’s a follow-through of them. There’s a best fit on each of these, but the point is what’s happening as we’re making higher highs and higher lows?
1:02:26 · Charles VincentAre we jumping creeks with impulsive behavior and strength and then retracing to what is if there is a and there is definitely an OTE, brilliant catching here, is it showing us bullish order flow? Is it bouncing directly in the fair value gaps and showing us turns with control bars out of that thing? There are many instances of catches in here. But the point is, as we’re making these highs and lows, we’re gauging impulsive corrective. And then is it coming back to an area? Or if we have this slapped on, I don’t know if it’ll work. Is it control barring through and then failing to go down. Those things matter. But once we’ve had this clear just remember chop chop chop impulsive corrective that’s direction. So did that make sense on how to how to use that thing? Good for me. Okay I know we haven’t got too far in the CAP and how to actually play it but the point is like if you have all of this drawn on and see precision, inability to go down, swipe the lows, what is a control bar up, retest off of what was the prior support with multiple areas aligning. There are, while noting that the direction is the bias is massively up with also continuing up. We’re just gauging.
1:04:00 · StudentRight at that cluster, is that the bottom of our second wave there? I’m just trying to put together the waves in my head, but that cluster before the end of the POC there, that cluster, that’s the bottom of our second wave there, right?
1:04:11 · Charles VincentOkay, one, two.
1:04:13 · StudentYeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
1:04:14 · Charles VincentBut the difference is like, I don’t want to go too past this, but what is then the wave count? If this is a one, two, what comes after a one, two?
1:04:26 · StudentIs our third.
1:04:28 · Charles VincentAnd so just simply, this would be the one, two, three, four, five, A, B, C. And then And this is the, so one, two of the third, one, two of the third of the third. What comes after that? The actual third of the third.
1:04:53 · StudentYeah, yeah, yeah.
1:04:54 · Charles VincentRight. And so just measuring them up, like counting. And again, as we draw them on in. The highly overlapping, not easy to follow, but just recognize this is just wave one. All of this is just wave one of wave three and then wave of wave three. This is wave one and two. Yeah. And that’s wave three of wave three. Yeah. So like if you prep for these things and time for these things, and this happens on all timeframes, right? You don’t have to, it’s not on just the large timeframes. But the point is, is that when we’re like Emad, I know you’re a day trader. The point is that you can plan like proper dollars are made from this and especially if you’re if you learn to take the need to find a trade every day there is just mathematically so much more money in it. You use so much less action required still study still still read the tape every day but the actual total profits especially versus the lack of amount of time required. It’s not even in the same realm of profitability to just run the run.
1:06:01 · StudentTotally. You’re waiting for those C waves to complete or, you know, the retrace of the second wave or the fourth wave. You know what I mean? You don’t need to get right.
1:06:11 · Charles VincentYeah, that’s [unclear] up in between. I’m just looking for impulsive corrective, new highs, new lows, higher highs, higher lows. What is the distance of A equals C? Is there a confluence of telling me that this thing, it did break, it did stop as A, ABC stopped it here, which is a five count one, two, three, four, five of the C. And then it shows me, should I expect a failure? Yes. Where? Well, here, roughly.
1:06:33 · StudentLike I love Elliott’s wave. I wonder, yeah. Emad do you see that with the Elliott’s wave in there? Yeah, kinda. That’s exactly the way you do, but I think I’m trying to learn more about it. Yeah, that’s awesome.
1:06:50 · Charles VincentYeah. And it just requires practice. But the point is, of that range, because remember we were doing impulsive turns and reverses and exhaustion and all that before, this also makes sense on a macro. Remember, I’m on a daily. We don’t have to be on a daily. We can go to whatever time frame you guys see this best because it’s specific to the range, not what I think. So you actually have to roll through them and see, wait, which is telling me the most amount of signal? This, more candles, not more signals. That, that’s the right amount. Clearer closes, clear combining of the candles that tell us the actual math versus having to do it linearly one by one by one.
1:07:32 · StudentAnd this is going to sound stupid, but likely each range has a different timeframe best fit obviously.
1:07:38 · Charles VincentYeah, that’s why when everybody always asks me, what’s your favorite timeframe? That’s there is no favorite timeframe. It’s what the market prints out to give the rough, clearest signal. Can there be a very similar between in this example, one day and two days? Yes. Both usable? Yes. Which has enough granularity? I don’t know. I’ll have to roll through them every time, all the time. Okay. So I think that’s good enough to pause there because I actually want to build on how to catch all of this moving up and noting that, remember, as a sidebar, what is the, I don’t know if you know this yet, but Drew, you should know this. What if Wave 1 is a complex, what is a Wave 4? Or sorry, Wave 2 is complex, what is a Wave 4? What is that? Yeah, and how do we tell that?
1:08:43 · StudentWith sharp and corrective?
1:08:45 · Charles VincentWhat’s the rule of what?
1:08:48 · StudentRules of alternation, of course.
1:08:50 · Charles VincentSo all we do is just simply count. There is a count that if one, two, and this is not the... Remember, this disqualifies this from being a third wave. So the point is that... that’s separate but the point is is just assume that if this is a complex of wave three what does that mean this one must be in we can expect a sharp or gauge or right and so uh when i say must there’s a a caveat we can have one two one two one two and those all be relevant but there’s a difference of how we play those just in simple terms if this is complex this should be sharp. And so what we’re expecting, this is a highly complex, very difficult to play if you’re not zoomed out or reading the tape, but the next one should have a more violent reaction simply coiled, coiled, but with an expansion within it, something. I want to say that.
1:09:50 · StudentAnd imagine knowing that trader going into that you know, ahead of time, you know, obviously not as predictability, but as a guide, you know, at least.
1:10:00 · Charles VincentIt’s a game changer. Yeah and it’s just it’s simply just literally outline range high range low. What is the the midline? What is the POC? What is the remember on this? Maybe it’s actually easier on a two-day. Maybe it’s easier on a three-day. Right? What’s more clear? Just like we outlined the previous was clearly on a one-day. This actually looks more clear on the three-day. Right? And then that thing carried forward just recognizing, hey if we have that thing, Let’s just count. What is the, if this is one, two, three, four, five, one, two, three, four, five. So one, two, three, four, five. And then what is the actual third wave stop and the, what is the sharp fourth? That’s it. This is, remember, what was this place for the swipe at the fourth? What was this place in time for Drew’s account?
1:10:57 · StudentOh God, that was huge. What was that? That was, holy shit, was that the war back then?
1:11:10 · Charles VincentYeah, right here. That was the lows of the lows. I remember just simply like that.
1:11:18 · StudentOh, Emad, it was so crazy when that happened.
1:11:21 · Charles VincentTell him the story. Tell him the story of what you remember.
1:11:26 · StudentYeah, Emad. So this is when I remember getting the phone call of put everything in, sell the house. Right?
1:11:36 · Charles VincentLiterally, I know you didn’t.
1:11:38 · StudentYeah. And I said, Charles, I’m like, if this was you, what would you do? You’re like, it was and I did, you know, like, you literally, Emad, I’m telling you, when you get this game to know this guy, he is a different beast. And anyway, so I was, I remember going through just everything I could to pull funds and everything and putting it in and yeah just you know man he uh he was right and then some and it was insane for uh for the next month leading up to it but it was just you know that split decision but I’ll never forget being in the mall and I’m holding my kids hands and I remember looking at my phone He’s like, you need to do, you need to do what you need to do right now. And he’s like, you know what I mean? We don’t have time. Everything was popping off on TV. The last thing that people were thinking about was what he was talking about. I’ll put it that way. Yeah, yeah. It was insane, man. Yeah. [unclear] Yeah. Yeah. So, hey, Charles, and it just, yeah, it was a game changer for them. And it changed everything with me, you know, of, you know, really that mindset, like I said, everybody would have been saying, well, not everybody, but you know, really, a lot of people were saying the complete opposite. It was a very scary, scary time. And it wasn’t shortly after doing that, I mean down to the like within a week or so That things happened and it was like holy shit this guy This guy knows a lot more than a lot more than most so but yeah
1:13:24 · Charles VincentJust just like I’m not trying to this is not like a thing to brag about and I’m just saying like Why because remember we’ve never actually went over this Like since you put in, you have never, we’ve never once analyzed this, right? Like you didn’t know why, and you still don’t to this point, right? The difference is though, now you actually have the tools to, if this is sharp and this is ABC, and this is the five count and we expect the failure at the whatever, wherever the distance is exactly, the point is, is that taking from what is preliminary support Draw, oh, yeah. Yeah, and then the other line like I’m this is remember it’s just printing [unclear]. Yeah
1:14:13 · StudentEmad I got goosebumps thinking back to like this happened You know what? I mean and not like a little bit like it was you know It was a lot happening Right at this moment. So this is super cool. I’ve never seen him break it down actually like this and I ever felt to go back
1:14:30 · Charles VincentThat’s the point. You now have the ability to do it, actually, right? So if this is a sharp and this is the extension, the fifth wave of the C wave, roughly, the distance, remember, of the fifth within this thing is what? I don’t know if you can see this, but this is a... remember, there’s something... I’ll leave this for you to figure out further, but the point is preliminary support, high volume failure either of these are or they matter what is a range breaker change of character after, into, reclaiming, retesting, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, right? ABC. Right? Like the full trigger. Remember, I would have been somewhere around this range. I can’t remember if I was more zoomed in, but it was still like very good buy. The point is I think you were right around here and I was like, dude, you have no fucking idea how lucky you are right now. Like you again, maybe I’m wrong, but also this is like a spectacular technical buy. You don’t even understand what the fuck I’m looking at. And it was like, yeah, yeah. Like it was, it was just retardedly not, not to be offensive, but the luckiest timing ever.
1:15:47 · StudentYeah. I remember losing my dad not long before this. And you’re like, see, somebody’s watching over you for this timing. And I mean, it was like, boom, everything happened. And, uh, haven’t looked back, you know, this is well.
1:15:59 · Charles VincentYeah. And so again, like, but the best part is, and then it, then it channels sideways for however long and, and you’re just, you know, in the background, like you, you don’t understand what the fuck’s happening. You don’t understand we’ve reentered the range with this type of range of a change of character. You don’t understand that this is fucking impulsive. You don’t, you’re not, you’re not paying attention to any of this. You’re just sitting there like probably crack heading your account every couple of days, you’re not recognizing this as a stair step and what is. vertical accumulation and what is it remember all of the things moving up and then from here to Here in like a month or something, right? Like yes crazy Yeah, but it’s all there for you to actually read the tape and figure it out yourself. So what I can Can’t wait that that’s what I want to start up. That’s what I’m gonna say next time, right? So we’ll don’t cheat don’t go ahead I want you to replay this real time because it’s important you actually can objectively next time whatever whatever passes. Okay. But the point is, this is not a, nothing is a hundred percent. However, there are enough tells to play this profitably if you pay attention and don’t complicate things. This is the hard part. Easier said than done. But the point is from everything we’ve done today, do you guys have any questions?
1:17:17 · StudentNo. And I think my biggest takeaway is going to be don’t over complicate things that last time there. Yeah. Well, many, many bigger, many bigger takeaways, but as far as, you know, breaking things down and I know we just have endless, you know, option of tools and things that we can look at in timeframes, but, um, you know, cutting out the noise.
1:17:37 · Charles VincentBut also like, yes, you’re right. But I want to give you some sort of context as well. Cause what we were talking about in this one is narrating, right? But also let’s narrate, let’s continue narrating. Just before we go, this candle versus this candle versus this candle, is the strength of the trend increasing with the effort decreasing or the opposite? The opposite. Yeah, it’s getting easier to push up. Yes. And we’re making new ground, more ground, right? That tells us momentum increasing regardless, whatever the fuck, however high up from the anyone thinks this is, this is an entry. Yeah, simply like just matter of fact, whether or not there’s a retrace, it doesn’t matter. It’s completely beside the point. Like if you’re high leveraging shit, well, this is a different story. But also if you recognize this is just an increasing trend, a strength of trend increasing after a giant, what multi-year creek broke, like. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Okay. Wow. Great. Okay. So thanks Charles. Yeah, no worries. Do you have any questions?
1:18:51 · StudentNo, no. Thank you again. That was a great session.
1:18:56 · Charles VincentNo worries. Yeah. Um, and then Ren’s still here. She’s nodding along. And the point is, uh, next time we’re going to continue off from here. Uh, and then, yeah, we’ll see you next class. And if, Emad, you can handle that other thing. It’d be great. Uh, and then, yeah, if you, if you could find that example to the, what you were talking about for the specific, either picture or just pull up the chart and the date, and we’ll talk about, we’ll figure out what exactly it was if I didn’t explain it well today. Awesome.
1:19:25 · StudentYeah, sure, yeah, yeah. And Emad, you’re coming next week. You’ll be on class next week? Yeah, yeah, I won’t miss it. Awesome, I look forward to seeing you. We’re hearing you. Yeah, you too, yeah, thank you, you too. Thanks, man.
1:19:41 · Charles VincentAll right guys, we’ll see you next week.
1:19:42 · StudentOkay Charles, thanks, see you then. Bye guys.
The class as it was recorded, starting mid-thought a little way into the class. One cut of about nine seconds at 18:51, a quiet stretch while the chart was reloaded. The clock in the corner of the chart jumps there. Apart from that cut and the trim at each end, nothing was removed. From 70:47 a student describes, in his own words, a buy he made in April 2025. It is left in because the class is published as it happened. It is not a published student result, and nothing in it is advice to do the same. Attendees are labelled Student rather than by name; first names spoken aloud in the room are left in. The transcript was made from the audio and its timecodes were measured against it, so any line can be found in the video. Speakers were told apart from the audio too, so where two people talk at once a few words can sit under the wrong name, and lines from two students can share one Student label. Words the audio does not clearly support are marked [unclear] rather than guessed.
The language is blunt throughout and is left in. It is a teaching class, not a track record, and nothing in it is a performance claim; the documented results live on the protocol results page, with sample sizes attached. Educational content only — not financial advice, and not individualised to your situation.
